Summer is here!
Well, we had a great weekend with Ang being in town and everything. We headed down to Balboa Park Saturday morning. There are a lot of cool museums there. After spending the greater part of the afternoon there we meet up with Heath and a few of Angie’s Co-workers. We went to the Wave House. This place was cool because you can ride the wave in this thing. I would have loved to get in there and try it but it was $70 for 2 hours!!! We ended the evening at another bar in San Diego.
Sunday was very nice. I woke up Josh at about 9ish. And made him go surfing with me. This kind of kicked off the summer for me. It was an ok day of surf. The waves weren’t huge but we got a couple good ones in. The picture in the video is my great parking spot. It was totally worth squeezing in to get the BEST PARKING SPOT EVER. We were about 30 feet from the stairs down to the beach. I have never done so well. Josh and to guide me in. We ended the weekend with dinner in the park. I cooked some veggies and steak over some coals while Jess read a new book to me. I forgot the title, but Shane Clayborne wrote it. Hope everyone else had a great weekend. We would love to hear/see what you did. Love you all.

Hopefully, I will have a link to a video of the weekend by Tuesday....

Hey there are you beautifully tan californians,

For Easter we went to church, where I have to say the kids looked mighty cute in their Easter attire. After one of those amazing Rob Bell sermons we visited Grandma Fuller. But after which we went home to prepare our dish to pass at the Kasper's home of Good Cookin'. I have to say it was a typical but good one of the Fuller-Kasper get togethers, with lots of laughs and fun. I always feel very held by the warmth of Christian families. All in all it was a great day and I can't wait to go back to all three places I traveled.

Josh is correct. We had a great time. However, He forgot to mention that we stopped at the San Antonio Ski Hut about 3/4 the way up the mountian. This was a great find. It will be in the top 10 Fuller finds in Califorina. We spent about 45 mins at the hut. The host gave us a nice historic tour of the small space that sleeps 24. There was a group of father and sons from a nearby church there. I would love to take any and all to this wonderful place to spend a night. You only need to do a steep 3 mile hike to get there. Check out the website.

The climb to the summit was intensely snowy and took a bit of time because we kept sinking waste deep in snow. For those who think this hike might be too intense, there is a chair lift up about 2 mile down the ridge. So all would be able to enjoy this one when you come out.

This last Easter weekend was great! Jess and I just got back from seeing all the family (you!), and I only had to work two days until Good Friday. Which I had off. So on friday Jess and I cleaned up the place, and then Josh and I went rock climbing at a local gym. The guy was really nice. He gave us a two for one deal. So it was cheap (I think it was becuase Josh mooned him).
On Saturday we went hiking (a new refound hobby) with Drew and Diana. The hike was about 7 miles round trip and it was beatiful. Until we hit the summit. There it was cold, windy, and huge snowballs were flying out of the trees. Jess got hit in the head right when Josh snapped a picture. She wasn't hurt so it was very funny. The hike was called Icehouse Canyon Trail.
For Easter, we had curch in the park, same as last year. New additions were Josh and Pat. We had a good time. Good service and good food afterwards.
I still have not heard what all of you have done for Easter, so please feel free to post what you did. We would love to see pictures too.
Love all of you. And remember.....

Be The Church!

Well, This blog is intended to heighten awareness of all our lives. Jess and I take pictures every weekend. I want you all to see them so that was the impetus to start this again. So I have set this blog up so multiple people can post pictures, videos, thoughts, and comments. I think we all would love it if we got involved in this online communication thing.
